This week at Senior Center

Well -what can I say? this week has been one to remember.  We had a Valentine Party Monday and 200 Seniors attended.  All had a good time.  How can some of the most beautiful people/population have a close place in your heart and at the same time you could push them from a moving bus?
I love what I do for work (entertain Sr's) but some days I'd rather be dragged from a moving car than listen to 1 more health ailment.
Working with the elderly really makes you think twice before asking some one "How are you today? (if you don't have 5-10 minutes to spare)"...
The buses start arriving at 8:30am.  If I don't have my head on straight, paperwork done, V.Mails/emails checked, all correspondence done, I feel behind all day.  Because when they arrive "Its SHOW-TIME".  As it should be.  They always want to know what are we doing today?  I'm asked "who, what, where, & when is going to entertain us today"?  If lunch is served 3 minutes late Mayhem breaks out in the dining hall.  What is that all about????
Don't let their age fool you!!!  They can hold their own!  I've been on the loosing end of a loop around argument many a time.  Let it GO.
